I honestly don’t know too much about QWECi but I kind of want to now. Check out this video for “Not Afraid,” a remix of the first Eminem single off his latest album Recovery. QWECi has a beautiful voice bringing a whole new sound to Eminem’s already powerful track. I’d love to hear an official remix of Em’s single with QWECi doing the chorus. Maybe one day. The self proclaimed “citizen of the world,” QWECi is signed to an indie label called Higher Life Music. According to his bio, the artist hails from Ghana but is now based in America where he’s created his own genre of music called “world pop.” If this is world pop, I want more. Good stuff.
