Adam Lambert Preps to Release New Live CD/DVD

If you haven’t got the chance to see Adam Lambert on tour then do the next best thing…bring his tour home with you! Adam Lambert announced plans to release Glam Nation Live March 22nd on 19 Recordings/RCA Records. The CD/DVD includes concert footage of Lambert shot in Indianapolis at Clowes Hall on August 31st. Directed by Doug Spangenberg, the CD/DVD features 12 live tracks PLUS an encore performance. Lambert sings hits from his debut album, For Your Entertainment, (which peaked on the Billboard 200 at #3) as well as hits from his days on the American Idol stage. Given that I haven’t seen Lambert live yet, this might be worth checking out.

Starting today, February 11th, Lambert will be premiering clips from the live CD/DVD on VEVO. Fans can also pre-order Glam Nation Live as well as an exclusive ‘Glam Nation Tour Pack‘ on AdamOfficial.com, where you can also find a more in depth look at last year’s tour.

Lambert’s debut album, For Your Entertainment, went on to sell over 1 million copies worldwide AND he’s the first American Idol alum to ever go on a world tour in support of a debut album. Lambert’s biggest hit off the record, the Grammy-nominated “Whataya Want From Me,” written by P!nk and Max Martin became Lambert’s first #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. The single also went on to top the Hot Singles Sales survey AND the Hot Dance Singles Sales chart. Impressive debut for a talented artist. Lots more to come from Lambert this year, INCLUDING a hot-sounding new remix of his power-ballad “Aftermath,” with proceeds going to The Trevor Project, a national organization focused on crisis and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) youth.  Check out the album artwork for Glam Nation Live above and the tracklisting down below.
