Oh Mike Posner. What are you DOING to me? If you haven’t seen the Shane Drake-directed video for Posner’s latest single, “Bow Chicka Wow Wow” then I have to prepare you. Mike Posner‘s body is BANGIN‘! Yeah, he’s still a skinny white dude but he’s bulked up considerably! Holy abs! Oh…and the song is aight too. The smooth Smeezingtons‘-produced R&B track is the follow up to Posner’s previous efforts, “Please Don’t Go,” which peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and “Cooler Than Me,” which peaked at #6. Both tracks come from Posner’s debut album 31 Minutes To Takeoff (J Records) which came out last summer here in the States, debuting at #8 on the Billboard 200.
Released 2 weeks ago, Posner’s new single has risen to #107 on Billboard‘s Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart. Hopefully with the release of the video last week, Posner will cross over into the Hot 100 and rise from there. The video is a fun, sexy romp that sees Posner and Lil Wayne trying their lady luck, wining and dining two pretty girls with some Nuvo sparkling liqueur and sweet talking. When that doesn’t work, Posner just switches on a little “Bow Chicka Wow Wow” and – BOING! The ladies turn into sex fiends.
