One of my favorite Canadian singer/songwriters, Fefe Dobson, just released her third single from her latest album, Joy, a beautiful power ballad called “Can’t Breathe,” featuring Aussie Guitar phenom Orianthi. “Can’t Breathe” is the follow up to previous singles “Stuttering” (which peaked at #10 on the Canadian Hot 100 and #40 on the Billboard Pop Songs chart) and “Ghost” (peaked at #14 on the Canadian Hot 100). While not as catchy as Dobson’s two more electro-tinged singles, it’s a decent ballad and Fefe brings her trademark edgy pop/rock attitude to the vocals (and in the Aaron A-directed video). “Can’t Breathe” debuted at #100 on the Canadian Hot 100.
