She looks like Adele, sounds like a cross between Lily Allen and Paloma Faith. What’s not to love about Ella Chi? You seriously have to give this girl a listen, so check out the hot video for her second single, “Gobstopper,” which came out in the UK this past Monday.
Ella’s debut single, “Cuz He Needed Me” was featured on Radio 2 B Playlist last year for several weeks, followed by some promotion on both Dermot O’Leary and Jonathan Ross‘ weekend shows. Recently, Ella was chosen as one of Radio 1‘s Scott Mills‘ “11 For 2011” so things appear to be heating up for this talented UK singer/songwriter, and deservedly so! No stranger to putting on an electrifying live show, Ella has played at Glastonbury and headlined at Wired @ Shoreditch House, YoYo’s, The Pigalle Club and The Cobden Club. She’s also performed with rapper K’Naan in New York City.
