Nearly a year after the release of his Rob Fusari (Lady Gaga, Britney Spears)-produced debut single, “Favorite Things,” fair haired international pop star Bera is back with a new single.  Produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins (Toni Braxton, Destiny’s Child), “Light It Up” hasn’t even been released and it’s attracted the attention of some powerhouse DJs, getting the official remix treatment from big names like Bimbo Jones,  Dave Audé  and Abe Clements and already climbing the Hot Dance Club Break Out charts. Sample these BANGIN‘ mixes BELOW.

The Parisian-born, Republic of Georgia-based Bera isn’t your run-of-the-mill pop star, far from it in fact.  Gifted with perfect pitch, Bera is also a classically trained pianist and accomplished violinist with a penchant for jazz.  Possessing a real independent spirit and a drive that won’t quit, Bera, rather than signing with a major record label, launched his own label, Georgian Dream, in 2010.  Getting to work on his upcoming debut album, Bera wrote all his own songs, pairing up with hit makers, Fusari and Jerkins, who together helped craft a musically diverse cluster of tracks, tailor made for today’s international radio landscape.  The album features a mix of more up-tempo club fare (“Light It Up“), and a more laid back, “loverboy” R&B side (“Favorite Things“).

No word on an official release date for “Light It Up,” but you can snag “Favorite Things” right now (iTunes US/iTunes UK). Check out the Ray Kay-directed video for “Favorite Things” below.
