Carly Rae Jepsen Releases ‘Call Me Maybe’ Dance Remixes; Set to Join Justin Bieber on ‘Believe’ Tour

    26-year old Canadian teen-pop superstar Carly Rae Jepsen turns CLUB PRINCESS on the recently released remixes of her international #1 hit “Call Me Maybe.”  The JAM-packed remix EP was released on May 22nd and features remixes from Manhattan Clique, Almighty, 10 Kings vs. Ollie Green and Coyote Kisses.  Listen to the remixes BELOW and download them on iTunes NOW (iTunes US/iTunes UK).

     

    26 year old Jepsen is still riding the MASSIVE worldwide success of her international breakthrough single, “Call Me Maybe,” which is now Platinum-certified here in America, selling over 2 million copies, hitting #1 on the iTunes Singles chart.  Additionally, the song was a hit in her native Canada, where it was certified quadruple Platinum, as well as topping the charts outside of North America in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Norway.

    The cheesy video has amassed more than 80 million views on VEVO and spawned several celebrity-fronted lip-sync videos featuring the likes of Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale, Katy Perry, James Franco not to mention funny videos from the Harvard Baseball Team and the SMU Women’s Rowing  Team. Oh, then there’s that President Obama video…AMAZING!

    Carly Rae has been supporting the single all over the world, including performances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Good Morning America, The View as well as a number of TV talk shows in the UK.  Jepsen also had the honor of performing the National Anthem at a sold-out Dodgers game, as well as a special headline gig at 5 Towers concert venue on Universal CityWalk.  Jepsen also appeared at both the Billboard Music Awards and KIIS FM’s Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles.

    Starting this Fall, Carly Rae Jepsen will hit the road with Justin Bieber as a special guest on the multi-platinum Pop/R&B sensation’s 2012 headlining tour of North America.  The SOLD OUT Believe’ Tour, presented by AEG Live, will kick off September 29th in Glendale, AZ and make its way through more than 45 cities, wrapping up January 26th in Miami, FL.

    With one album already out in Canada, Jepsen is currently working on the follow up, which will be her U.S. debut album, due later this year/early next year via 604 Records/Schoolboy Records/Interscope Records.  Jepsen is already known in Canada where she placed third on the fifth season of Canadian Idol.  She’s already scored two gold singles and won numerous awards and accolades, including 2010 Juno Award nominations for ‘Songwriter of the Year‘ and ‘Best New Artist.’  Download “Call Me Maybe” on iTunes now!
