Adam Lambert Set To Release New Single/Remix EP; Trespassing Due October 16th

    Adam Lambert Trespassing EP
It’s been a minute since we’ve heard from Adam Lambert so I was understandably pretty PUMPED up when I heard about the upcoming release of “Trespassing,” the third single and TITLE track off his #1 sophomore album, due out October 16th via 19 Recordings/RCA Records.  The song is the PERFECT choice for a third single and one of my clear, early standouts in my initial album review.  The rock-infused pop/dance stomper was co-written by Lambert and N*E*R*D/Neptunes frontman Pharrell Williams.  Nice to see Billboard and I are on the same page, with the magazine calling the song “startling, stomping [and] altogether tremendous, in which Lambert snarls ‘Wait ’til you get a load of me’ over a beat that Michael Jackson would have loved.”

Due out October 16th, the Trespassing EP will be available at all digital retailers, as well as on www.AdamOfficial.com.  Not only that but Glamberts can REJOICE over an upcoming PHYSICAL release of the EP, available later this year on www.AdamOfficial.com.  In fact, fans who pre-order the physical version will still get a copy of the digital release! Sweet deal, no?  Included on the EP is the radio version as well as remixes by Benny Benassi, Zak Waters, vAnity mAchine.  Additionally you get remixes of Lambert’s previous two singles, “Never Close Our Eyes” (R3hab, Mig & Mike Rizzo) and “Better Than I Know Myself” (Robert Marvin & Shearer) as well as a remix of album track “Pop That Lock” by Johnny Labs.

While Trespassing has been an incredible success, with the album debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200 making him the first openly gay artist to top the prestigious U.S. chart, it’s important to look back at some of the star’s past achievements.  Lambert’s underrated debut album, For Your Entertainment has sold nearly 2 million copies worldwide.  Since then the American Idol alum has been nominated for a Grammy (Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, “Whataya Want From Me“) and sang with Queen in select European and UK markets, having previously shared the stage with the iconic band for the finale of the MTV European Music Awards.  Lambert also had the privilege of being the ONLY Westerner invited to perform on the finale of The Voice China to an audience of 500 million viewers! Amazing.
