Say Lou Lou (AKA Miranda and Elektra Kilbey-Jansson) are a twin sister synthpop duo from Australia/Sweden. The band recently announced “Games For Girls,” (out October 12th on à Deux), the Lindstrøm-produced lead single taken from debut album, Lucid Dreaming, out February 2nd. The album features production from Swedish production duo Addeboy vs. Cliff, Norwegian producer Lindstrøm (Annie, Sally Shapiro), and the great Richard X (Róisín Murphy, Rachel Stevens) and will be released via Say Lou Lou‘s own label à Deux. Ahead of their first single release, the girls surprised fans with a “THANK YOU” gift, releasing a beautiful cover of Daft Punk and Julian Casablanca‘s 2013 track “Instant Crush” taken from DP‘s 2013 album Random Access Memories. Say Lou Lou completely transform the guitar-keyboard-synth stunner by putting their own hauntingly airy “dream pop” spin on it. What’s more, the duo is offering the cover up as a free download, so get on that while you can.
