For those of you who haven’t yet fallen in love with UK indie pop outfit Graffiti6 (AKA Jamie Scott & Tommy “D” Danvers) now’s your chance!  The band, currently on tour with singer/songwriter Eric Hutchinson, has just announced NEW tour dates. Yessir! More dates than previously mentioned! Good news for me, the band is coming back to Boston, and while they’re playing the exact same venue they did last time when only 10 people showed up, I have faith.

Kicking off May 29th in Indianapolis, IN, Graffiti6‘s own headline tour will feature support from Malaysian singer/songwriter Yuna and run through June.  In addition, you can see the band play at the Sasquatch Festival in Gorge, WA May 27th and the inaugural Firefly Music Festival in Dover, DE on July 21st where they will join artists like The Killers, The Black Keys, Death Cab For Cutie and more.  Having already played on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan and Rachael Ray, Graffiti6 will next grace U.S. television screens with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! May 24th. GET PUMPED UP!
Buzz-wise, Graffiti6 has really been heating up here in America, which is AMAZING.  Buzz is awesome for a band like this, and the label has been promoting the hell out of them but they are still so unknown!  We have to change that!  The band was named the ‘You Oughta Know‘ artist for the month of March by VH1 and is currently the VEVO LIFT artist through the rest of May.  Check out VEVO.com/lift for video premieres, behind-the-scenes stuff, intimate live concerts (BELOW), and more!  Past LIFT artists have included One Direction, Karmin, Jessie J, Tinie Tempah and others.
The band’s debut album, Colours was released January 24th via Capitol Records and first single peaked in the Top 5 at AAA radio and is currently climbing the airplay charts at the HOT AC format where it reached #31 last week.  The video for “Free” has nearly 2 million hits on VEVO and is currently in rotation on VH1, MTVU, Music Choice and MUN2.  The band’s new single, “Stare Into The Sun” (YES!) recently impacted AAA radio and is climbing the charts as we speak.  A new video has been shot in LA and will be premiering shortly, so stay tuned!
