[Hot Video Alert] Amelia Lily – You Bring Me Joy

Amelia Lily You Bring Me Joy
Up and coming pop starlet, Amelia Lily might very well be former X-Factor mentor Kelly Rowland‘s greatest gift to the world during her mercifully short stint on the popular UK reality series.  As if there could be any doubt, check out her new song and video.  Amelia Lily‘s BRILLIANT debut single, “You Bring Me Joy” is all the evidence you could possibly need.

Produced by hitmakers Xenomania (Cher, Kylie Minogue, Girls Aloud), whose Sony Music imprint   Lily is now signed to, “You Bring Me Joy” is a contemporary club banger that showcases the X-Factor popstrel’s impressive vocal range and power.  The single, due September 2nd is the first to be lifted from her forthcoming debut album, out later this fall.  While the song in it’s original form is quite lovely, UK DJs Steve Smart & Westfunk have turned it out with a set of FIERCE remixes, one of which appears on the digital EP, available for pre-order now (iTunes UK).

17 year old (almost 18) Amelia Lily Oliver hails from Nunthorpe in Middlesbrough, in North East England.  After making it to the live rounds on last season’s UK X-Factor, Lily performed a cover of Michael Jackson‘s ICONIC Billie Jean” and became the first of the girls’ category to be eliminated on October 9th.  Lucky for the world, following one of contestant Frankie Cocozza‘s colossal F**K UPs, Lily re-entered the competition following his expulsion, thanks to the public vote (and no thanks to Kelly Rowland). As if Lily wasn’t lucky enough, having been voted back in, she didn’t waste any time, riding high all the way through the finals and coming in third place overall. Amazing.
Pre-order “You Bring Me Joy” (iTunes UK), out September 2nd and check out the video BELOW (UK fans can watch it directly on Amelia Lily’s VEVO page) and witness the FLAWLESSNESS that is Amelia Lily. Listen to a hot official remix from Steve Smart & Westfunk while you’re at it, also BELOW. Can I just say how happy I am that Lily ditched the pink hair? SO happy.
