So Jessie Ware has a new(ish) video out for her latest single, “You & I (Forever).” Not exactly the freshest news, I know but given how EMO the holidays have been making me, it feels appropriate. The BenZel-produced cut is the third official single taken from Ware’s critically acclaimed sophomore set, Tough Love (PMR Records | Friends Keep Secrets | Interscope) and is due out in the UK January 12th. “You & I (Forever)” is the follow-up to the EQUALLY stunning, “Say You Love Me,” (an Ed Sheeran co-write) which peaked at No. 22 on the UK Singles Chart following it’s release at the end of September. In the Adam Powell-directed video (which debuted at the beginning of the month) Ware features alongside 100 fans invited to participate, as well as her friends (R&B singer/songwriter and “You & I (Forever)” co-writer—Miguel) and family, including her new hubby Sam Burrows. Check it out BELOW the cut.
While Jessie Ware has been taking a bit of a breather to enjoy married life (not to mention a delayed honeymoon) she’s about ready to launch her Tough Love Tour. The European leg of her tour begins January 20th in Belfast, and concludes February 17th in St. Petersburg. After a short break, Ware hops a plane back here to North America where she’ll play a series of headlining dates, kicking off in Washington D.C. March 31st and ending April 8th in Los Angeles.
