MØ's latest release, "Final Song" is a total bop and produced by MNEK, so it all makes sense.

Check out MO's latest single, the MNEK co-written "Final Song" out now!

If you haven’t caught Denmark’s Karen Marie Ørsted (better known as ) in her natural environment (on stage) then you are really missing out. Her latest single, “Final Song” was produced and co-written by perennial Music Is My King Size Bed fav, MNEK. Careful, because it’s a bop and a half! While the song starts out slow and steady with  emoting softly against minimal instrumentation, it doesn’t take long for the song to drift into FULL-FLEDGED BANGER territory with MNEK‘s trademark glitch-riddled pop production on full display by the time the euphoric chorus hits your ears. Give it a listen below:

Final Song” (which has over 7 million Spotify streams to date) is the follow-up to last year’s “Kamikaze,” and the latest bit of new music thought to be from her forthcoming sophomore album, due later this year. What’s more, is hitting the road this Fall for a North American tour, playing some of her biggest U.S. venues to date, including Terminal 5 in New York City. In addition, she’ll be stopping by some of stateside summer festivals, including Lollapaollooza, Firefly and more. For dates and ticket information, check out ‘s official website.

While was an artist I had certainly heard of, it wasn’t until I saw her live 2 years ago (during her first U.S. tour), that her music really connected. Because I’m always down for discovering new pop acts—especially on their first foray to America—I bought 2 tickets on a whim—on the off chance I’d find someone to join me. Later on, added Swedish singer/songwriter Erik Hassle on as a tour opener which only sweetened the deal for me. catapulted off Hassle’s set of smoldering slow jams, into a high-energy tour-de-force performance that left both her and the audience dripping with sweat. Whipping her high pony-braid ’round and round, at one point lept into the crowd at the—by then JAM-PACKED Glasslands Gallery (RIP) for some audience affection. Ending her set with a cover of “Say You’ll Be There” by the Spice Girls, had completely slayed the entirety of Brooklyn and turned me into a full-fledged fan.

Final Song” is available to stream/download now through RCA Records (Spotify / iTunes).
