Last night Canadian singer/songwriter Kiesza performed her international smash hit, “Hideaway” on The Late Show With David Letterman, marking her American television debut. The song, already a bonafied hit in Europe, has been steadily climbing the Billboard dance charts here in the U.S. Produced by Rami Samir Afuni, Kiesza‘s collaborator and record label boss over at Lokal Legend, “Hideaway” is the title track off her debut EP which is out now (iTunes). Check out Kiesza‘s energetic performance, in which she recreates parts of the original video live (including 90s dance moves), BELOW. Kiesza even goes the extra mile, strutting through the audience and out onto the street before getting soaked by an uncapped fire hydrant. That’s dedication to the craft, people! Kiesza will play her first live show here in America at Santos Party House in New York City July 22nd (I’ll be there!) and Idolator is giving away two tickets to the show.
