Be on the look out for the debut EP from Israeli singer/songwriter/producer DORJ - FORGETMOVEONDONTCARE, out later this month.

Listen To This: Dorj – Move On

Having already called Dorj's debut single 'Promising Pop,' I was eagerly anticipating his follow up and "Move On" certainly does not disappoint. The song will feature on Dorj's upcoming debut, due later this month.

I previously included Israeli artist DORJ in my ‘Promising Pop‘ category, when I spotlighted a song called “Don’t Care” from his upcoming EP, FORGETMOVEONDONTCARE. Now in advance of the EP’s release later this month, we have another beautiful track called, “Move On.” Listen below.

Featuring DORJ‘s warm vocals and crisp, delicate delivery laid over a bed of prickly trap-funk-electronic elements, “Move On” is another example of the finely crafted electronic pop music we’ve come to expect from this classically trained Israeli-born talent. Explaining the meaning behind the music, DORJ had this to say:

“The song speaks of a driving sense of restlessness in search of creative and spiritual self realisation posited against struggles of everyday life. Faced by challenges to be true to one’s inner essence, ‘Move On’ is a cry towards overcoming any obstacles that may stand in the way.”

DORJ’s forthcoming EP, FORGETMOVEONDONTCARE (out Friday, September 11th) was co-produced by NYC-based producer Ido Freedman. Pre-order the EP right now (iTunes).
