Ones to Watch in 2011: Cleo Sol

The talent just keeps getting younger and younger these days, doesn’t it? While it all makes me feel really old, it keeps things the music fresh. Case in point, new rising talent Cleo Sol, who’s debut promo track “LoveBass” is available for free on her Facebook page. At only 20 years old, the beautiful Cleo Sol already has racked up an impressive list of collaborations including Tinie Tempah (“Tears“), DaVinChe (“Hero“), Bashy (“Riding For Love“), and most recently on the official Orange Rockcorps anthem “Give A Little Love,” where Sol joined forces with Roll Deep, Aggro Santos, Bluey Robinson and Bashy. If that wasn’t enough to impress you, you can also hear her vocal stylings on the soundtrack to the UK film 4,3,2,1 where she joins Wretch 32 on the track “Dancefloor.”

The West London born Cleo Sol is set to make a spalsh on the UK urban scene, infusing R&B and dubstep together creating a fresh-to-death sound that’s sure to garner her some much deserved solo attention. “LoveBass” was produced by DaVinChe, who’s singled her out as one of the most talented artists he’s ever had the pleasure of collaborating with.

“When we first began working in the studio, the musical chemistry was instant; Cleo’s ideas and energy help us to create the music we want naturally not forced. I’m excited for the world to hear Cleo Sol.”

Make sure you check out Cleo Sol on Facebook and download your free copy of “LoveBass.” You won’t be sorry! Check out the song below and fall in love with this fresh new UK talent.
