Polydor Records Recording Artist Ed Drewett Offers Free Download of New Song

    Ed Drewett
Music Is My King Size Bed-fav Ed Drewett is BACK with “Good Morning,” a tasty bit of Gavin DeGraw-esque singer/songwriter pop-rock, QUITE the departure from that catchy electropop banger of a debut single, “Champagne Lemonade.”  Now signed to Polydor/Universal, Ed is hard at work on his long-awaited debut album.  While we wait with baited breath, good ole’ Ed has a little treat for us in the meantime, a free download of the new song, “Good Morning.”  A good morning indeed!

British singer/songwriter Ed Drewett first got my attention back in 2010 with the release of his debut single, “Champagne Lemonade.” Rumored to be working with a team of AMAZING producers including Wayne Hector, Cutfather, JJ, Fraser T. Smith and The ThundaCatz, Drewett’s as-yet-unreleased debut album sounded potentially AMAZING. Unfortunately, the infectious dance/pop tune would be Drewett’s first and last offering from Virgin Records/EMI following it’s disappointing run on the UK Singles Chart where it peaked at #84.

Keeping busy between then and now, Drewett has made a name for himself as a talented and highly sought after songwriter, penning three hit singles for English boyband The Wanted, including their international breakthrough single, “Glad You Came,” which became the boys’ first ever Top 5 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Ed released a companion video [BELOW] for the new song featuring lots of adorable “Behind The Scenes” footage of Ed out and about in and around London, in the studio and playing with a cute puppy. Download “Good Morning” for free on Ed Drewett‘s official site and stay tuned for news on his upcoming album and official first single.
