Terror Jr To Release Bop City Oct. 21

Future Pop Trio, Terror Jr. Announce “New Project,” ‘Bop City,’ Out October 21st

Hyped up future pop trio, Terror Jr. recently announced the October 21st  release of a “new project” called Bop City and I’m curious to say the least. I’ve BEEN curious about these guys since the mysterious trio cleverly unveiled “3 Strikes,” a synthy earworm of a song in a Colin Tilley-directed music video (slash commercial) showcasing ‘Glosses by Kylie Jenner.’ While they only have 5 songs to their name at the moment, Terror Jr. have been building up quite a following, thanks to consistent coverage on a smattering of tastemaker blogs. While the band has a presence on social media, specifically Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, they haven’t been all that active. Well, with the Bop City announcement this week, we can see why.

Bop City, the new project from Terror Jr. is out Oct. 21st.

Terror Jr. consists of glitch-pop producer/songwriter Felix Snow (Kiiara), songwriter extraordinaire (and former member of The CataracsDavid Singer-Vine (Dev, Far East Movement) and an elusive, pink haired pop princess by the name “Lisa.” While the band hasn’t been forthcoming as to who “Lisa” is, rumors have been swirling FOR MONTHS about it being Kylie Jenner herself, with outlets like Nylon, Teen Vogue, Elle and Buzzfeed feeding the speculation. ALSO feeding that speculation? Terror Jr. of course. The only other account they follow on Twitter—Kylie Jenner. What’s more, October 21st, in addition to being the release day for Bop City ALSO happens to be Kim Kardashian West‘s birthday. Perez Hilton even goes as far as to call out similarities between Terror Jr.’s “Bop City” title and “Rack City,” the title of Jenner’s boyfriend Tyga‘s hit song. Just a coincidence? Perhaps. Either way, the world will find out on October 21st.

Now, while Perez is under the assumption that ‘Bop City‘ is a single, I’m thinking it could be an EP. To date, the trio has released 5 songs—the previously mentioned “3 Strikes,” “Sugar,” “Trippin'” “Say So,” and most recently “Come First,” the latter becoming Terror Jr.’s biggest streaming hit to date, with over 27 million streams to date and a prominent position on Spotify‘s “Today’s Top Hits” playlist. Whatever Bop City ends up being, I’M HERE FOR IT. Bring it on guys! Give “Come First” a listen above and follow Terror Jr. on Spotify, iTunes and SoundCloud to hear all of their music.
